It all began with our love of wine

Where we started

Originally named Four Bears, a tribute to our amazing four kiddos, we began making wines of our own after Sean spent a number of years in the wine industry. This was in 2005 and to this day, we continue to make wines from premier appellations throughout California and remain family owned.

We introduced Pinot Noir from Carneros

Our time in Oregon was not only a special place where two of our children were born, but also the home where we personally fell in love with Pinot Noir. The Carneros Pinot Noir was our first Pinot Noir we made when we made our trek to California.

Across the nation

As we continued to grow our portfolio and our team, our wines could be found in more locations, both by the glass on restaurant menus and on the shelves in your favorite local markets. We can now be found in 49 states and couldn’t be more proud!

Welcome to the club

Building a wine club has been such a joy and allowed us to connect with so many of you. Sean Minor Wines were made to be enjoyed around a table, with loved ones and great food, and the club has allowed us to bring that experience straight to your front door.

New lables

We’ve got a fresh new look—our updated labels were made to catch your eye and look right at home on your dinner table. They reflect the same care we put into every bottle, from sourcing top-quality grapes to crafting balanced, true to varietal wines.

Welcome Elle + new wine

The next generation is officially on board: Sean and Nicole’s daughter, Elle, has joined the team as Winemaker and Production Manager. Along with a new addition to our portfolio—our Denmark Street Sauvignon Blanc! Crafted by Elle from regeneratively farmed fruit and aged and fermented in amphorae, it’s crisp, bright, and delightfully expressive.
